Position Summary:

We are looking for a mid-level Data Engineer to help organize, automate, and structure company data so it can be easily used by AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, and other internal applications. This role will focus on automating the ingestion and aggregation of data from different systems, cleaning and standardizing it, and building a strong foundation that application engineers and business teams can use to create practical AI-driven workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain automated data pipelines that ingest information from different systems and sources.
• Aggregate data across platforms into a unified, usable data layer.
• Clean, organize, and standardize data so it is reliable and easy to use.
• Structure data in ways that make it more accessible to AI tools and internal applications.
• Help create data models, documentation, and basic governance standards.
• Monitor data quality and fix issues when information is missing, inconsistent, or inaccurate.
• Work with business teams to understand their data needs and how their information is used.
• Partner with application engineers building AI tools on top of the company’s data.

Qualifications & Skills:

• English communication skills (both written and verbal) are required (C1 or C2 level of proficiency).
• 3–6 years of experience in data engineering or a related role.
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with Python and automated data pipelines.
• Experience working with databases, APIs, and cloud data platforms.
• Good understanding of data ingestion, aggregation, data modeling, data quality, and system integration.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work across technical teams and business functions.

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Experience preparing data for AI, search, or automation use cases.
• Familiarity with tools like Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, BigQuery, or similar.
• Experience working with semi-structured or unstructured data.
